million by 2050, and minorities will make up 54% of the population. Hispanics have become the “majority minority” in Los Angeles County today. In addition, California’s population is expected to reach 60 million by 2050, and Los Angeles will continue to be California's largest county, topping 13 million by mid-century according to a report by California's Department of Finance.
