What is Your Learning Style?

Are you the type of person who can see or read something and understand it? Do you find it easier to process information that is spoken? Or do you actually need to perform a task or activity before you "get it"? Charlie Nielson, president of CM Alliance International, Inc., explains that these differences in processing information are due to an individual's learning style. "There is no right or wrong way to learn," says Nielson.
“If you know whether or not you are a visual, audio, or kinesthetic learner, ” you may be able to choose the type of learning environment best suited
to your particular style. Most people use all three learning styles but find that they learn best with one of them." Nielson goes on to state, "Knowing your learning style may help you choose a suitable career as well. If you are someone who likes 'hands-on learning', for example, you may be drawn to a career in construction, engineering, or architecture.“ Biographies, self-help information, radio broadcasts, classic British comedies, and much more are available on Nielson’s Web site, InstantAudioLearning.com.
