WD MyBook PRO Series can store up to 1 terabyte of data and is very easy to use - January 23, 2007
Western Digital (WD), a leading hard disk drive manufacturer, has announced that it will participate in the Al-Ahram Computer and Information Technology Exhibition (ACITEX) 2007, putting its new WD MyBook PRO Series external drives at the centerpiece of its showcase. The exhibition will be held from January 24-27 event at the Cairo International Conferences Centre in Egypt.
The latest addition to WD’s high-profile hard drive series is the WD MyBook PRO Edition II, which allows users to add massive secure backup storage for their business files, music, videos, photos and games. The new storage system provides users a safe place to secure as much as one terabyte (1TB) of digital content, and offers a failsafe system using RAID technology that will instantaneously duplicate user data for extra protection or to accelerate the delivery of data to users.
WD’s Hafeez Khawaja, Senior Regional Director for Middle East, Africa and South Asia, and Scott Davis, VP International Sales will lead the company’s delegation to the international trade fair.
