“The sound Mosaiques achieves is definitely seductive in its sonic quality,” says Jordan. “Not being a professional musician or musicologist, it is difficult to explain the total effect of the sound of these classic instruments.” Vassar and Jordan’s remarks are featured in the “Lately We’ve Heard” section of the program guide. This section of Quarter Notes reviews recent CD releases from celebrated classical composers, conductors and performers.
