WAKE FOREST, N.C.—TheClassicalStation.org announces today that its weekly program, Preview!, will feature an interview conducted by Classical Lunch host Larry Kirwan with pianist Awadagin Pratt and cellist Zuill Bailey. The interview will air during the station’s Sunday, March 2 program that runs from 6-9 p.m. "Both of these excellent musicians transcend the normal boundaries of classical performance,” says Kirwan. “They not only play at the level of sheer expression, but also truly communicate with their audiences." The interview discusses their upcoming performance at the Fletcher
Opera Theater, Progress Energy Center, Raleigh, N.C. on Sunday, March 9. Kirwan talks to them about their dynamic and engaging performance styles, their long-time friendship and their efforts to enhance community life through education and performances.
