WCPE Offers Special Programming for New Year’s Eve - William Woltz, music director for WCPE, TheClassicalStation.org, announces the station’s New Year’s Eve offerings for December 31. WCPE will celebrate the joy of classical dance with a collection of Viennese waltzes and dance music written by the Strauss family, Emile Waldteufel, Joseph Lanner and others. Opening the evening of gaiety and dance is the Cleveland Orchestra presenting “Der Rosenkavalier” by Richard Strauss.
