A British voodoo author has said his rise from poverty and obscurity to wealth and fame was down to "secret mind power" techniques he learned from a mysterious Trinidadian voodoo master. "In 1998 I was broke and down on my luck," says Doktor Snake, who lives in Norwich, Eastern England. "Right then and there I knew I had to put into practise the voodoo spells taught to me by my mentor - the late Earl Marlowe, a voodoo conjure man from Trinidad."
Snake spent the 1980s and early 1990s playing guitar in the London-based world music band fronted by Marlowe. During that time Snake was
instructed in the arts of voodoo sorcery. "Earl taught me everything he knew - from making yourself invisible to getting a ton of money when you need it," relates Snake. "When I was broke I performed his spells and meditations. Within three months I'd secured a lucrative US/British book deal." The book was "Doktor Snake's Voodoo Spellbook" and was published by St Martin's Press in the USA and by Connections in Britain. Now a cult best-seller, it tells the colorful story of Snake's magical apprenticeship with Marlowe, and also provides a wealth of voodoo spells and holistic remedies.
"It's no exaggeration to say that book deal turned my life around and brought me wealth and fame," says Snake. "And this was all down to practising the secret mind power techniques taught to me by Earl Marlowe. Believe me, this is a sure way to success in whatever field you're in." Snake - who has appeared on TV and radio shows around the globe - says more books are in the offing. You can discover more about Doktor Snake and his brand of voodoo at: http://www.doktorsnake.com
