Tommy Carson Announces U.S. World Tour

Music fans of Northern California better brace themselves for an earthquake of funny as legendary lounge singer Tommy Carson makes his long awaited debut in a five city tour this summer. Rock N Roll Hall of Fame attendee Tommy Carson has proven he is more than a one hit wonder with the successful independent release of his debut CD “Live in Laughlin” Since becoming “Canada’s Number One Johnny Carson Impersonator” Tommy has evolved into the “Singer with the Zinger” as he combines his unique "alternative lounge" style music with spleen bursting one liners. Tommy classics like "Smokin’ Chick” "Weak in the Head"," "Jump," and "(Thanks to the) Little People" along with his spleen bursting comedy routines like the famous, "Bud’s Bathroom” skit which caused late comedian Richard Jeni to laugh so hard he spewed pop out his nose. As an added bonus, fans will be in awe with personal stories of Tommy’s short but steamy relationship with the late Anna Nicole Smith.

“This promises to be one of the biggest events of the year for San Francisco." said Craig Richardson, Tommy’s personal assistant and host of What The? on CFUV 101.9 FM in Victoria. “Each show is different and unique because Tommy’s drinking problem brings an unpredictable element to each show” This tour marks the debut of Shecky Guibault on keyboards. Guibault has an extensive resume and has played keyboards on some of the greatest songs ever recorded such as Neil Sedaka’s “Bad Blood” and Sammy Johns “Chevy Van.” Tommy says, “I love Bud, in a heterosexual way of course, but Shecky is a pro and knows how to kiss my ass.” Guibault joins Tommy after longtime sidekick Bud Krywy faked his suicide to avoid testifying in a mob trial. In addition to his singing career, Tommy’s charity work shows that he is still in touch with the little people. Tommy has earned praise and recognition for his highly successful Christmas charity campaigns like the “Butts for Bums” and “Drunkfess for the Homeless” Move over Rice-A-Roni, because this summer Tommy Carson is the new San Francisco treat.
