The history of FLORINA

FLORINA was created in 1998. As early as 1983 we were experimenting with the idea of preserving a plant to last for several years.

In 1984, we continued with our tests to cytolyse (preserve) plants. In the ultimate climate and the clean environment, we were very close to our dream of a non-toxic cytolysing process.

In 1985 was finally the breakthrough for the FLORINA cytolysing process. We had now found the way to preserve or more correctly cytolyse a plant to last for many years. It was a 100 % non-toxic process using our special

chemical powder mixed with water, and non-toxic stimulants in a controlled environment.

This process was first patented in in 1985 and followed up in 1986 by patents in thirty other countries of the world. In the following years much knowledge was built into FLORINA on the methods of Plant Cytolysation.

After several years of research a new dream was realised, when we succeeded in cytolysing a ROSE. The fragile petals of the Rose had been a great problem for some time, but by 1990 we were ready to apply for a new world-wide patent : HOW TO CYTOLYSE FLOWERS, AS ROSES, which was granted in 1993.

COMPETITION IN THE WORLD
The FLORINA process is the ultimate way to preserve plants. In the world there is, as far as we know, only one other legal way to preserve green plants. This way is to use a toxic stimulant, Silver Nitrate, and as this process has many other limitations. - FLORINA is now conquering the world.

INDONESIA FACTORY
The FLORINA mother company, PT. Flora Impian Indonesia Indah, a company established in February 20th, 1998 - which registered office in Bandung, Indonesia producing in a 7,000sqm factory, long lasting natural arrangements treated with the unique, world patented, process of Cytolysation.
