time.

In the book, McGlynn transports readers back to the drive-in theater for some of the most popular scenes from movies of the time, including The Bank Robbery Gone Wrong, The Car Crash at the Drive-In, The Catholic School Scandal, The Thanksgiving Dinner Horror, The Audience Terrorized by the Devil, The Homecoming Dance Disaster, and The “Book Day” Incident.

McGlynn received his B.S. and M.S. in Music Education from the University of Illinois where he studied voice with William Warfield. A choir director since 1981, Tim currently teaches at Schaumburg High School in Illinois. While living in Minneapolis he was a member of The Dale Warland Singers, a professional choral ensemble that toured, recorded and made several appearances on NPR’s Praire Home Companion. Tim’s choral arrangements have been published by Lorenz Music and Heritage Music Press.

Aside from school, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife, Misty, and their children Andy and Kate. Besides an obvious love of movies, Tim’s interests include traveling, classic rock, eBay, photography, the Green Bay Packers and all things Clint Eastwood. The McGlynn family, along with two cats and a dog, resides in Palatine, IL, a few blocks from the house where Tim grew up.
