TOPEX sponsor for the 12th Broadband Convention

At the Broadband Convention held in Bucharest JW Marriott, between 13 and 14 of November 2007, TOPEX sponsored the Convention next to UPC company. This Convention represents the most important event of the cable industry in Romania, being the place where the established TV channels alongside of the newcomers were presenting their newest productions. The Convention also hosted an exhibition area where the latest technologies were displaying by technology and equipment suppliers.

TOPEX presentation “Adding voice to CATV suppliers networks” was performed by Radu Balaci, Business

Development Manager at TOPEX, on 14th of November, within “Equipments and Technologies for video, data, voice” session next to companies like Peruvision, CommScope or Motorola. The exposure was based on the advantages prominence of VoIP technologies for CATV suppliers networks.
In this presentation were also described TOPEX Softswitch and the range of Media and Signaling Gateways solutions, these being network elements requested for the interconnection with other telephone operators and the solution to offer IP voice traffic and signaling traffic over cable networks.
