Shuttle presents great-looking small form factor (SFF) PC with Blu-ray playback - SFF PC market leader and manufacturer of multi form factor solutions, today introduced a fully equipped, pre-configured media centre system. The new Shuttle XPC G5 3201M is the first SSF PC equipped with a Blu-ray drive, enabling it to play the latest HD-format cinema films. "High-definition entertainment in SFF PC format has, with this Shuttle XPC, become a reality," explains Tom Seiffert, Head of Marketing & PR at Shuttle Computer Handels GmbH. "And the use of latest componentry makes possible the playback of full HD material while maintaining a low system load."
The increased performance, necessary to achieve this, comes in the form of Core 2 series processors, up to 4 GB of RAM, and a NVIDIA GeForce 8600GTS graphics card with accelerator functions.
