LONDON, May 8 (newratings.com) - Analysts at JP Morgan reiterate their "overweight" rating on Sanofi-Aventis SA (SNW.ETR), while raising their estimates for the company. The 12-month target price is set to €78. In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that the company has reported robust 1Q results, with sales in-line with the consensus. Sanofi-Aventis has raised its profit guidance for FY07. The analysts believe, however, that the company has raised its guidance conservatively. The company is likely to launch its Acomplia drug in 3Q, which might provide a boost to its
share price, JP Morgan adds. The EPS estimates for 2007 and 2008 have been raised from €4.95 to €5.20 and from €5.26 to €5.28, respectively.
