SMA Financial (www.sma.co.uk), SWIFT Regional partner for UK, Eire and Channel Islands today announced interest in their event, “CREST: The Euroclear Single Platform, the risks and rewards for opening the door to the UK Market” scheduled for Wednesday 24th September, 2008 is gaining momentum.

“There is a real concern that the selection of a Network provider left too late, will limit the flexibility that CREST users will have as the domestic UK market is opened up to European participants. We are keen that members of the UK domestic market are ready to not only protect their

existing market but also have the ability to expand their business outside of the UK once the European playing field is opened up.”

SMA has brought together a first class line up of industry experts and technology leaders who will offer their views and recommendations for successful Network partner selection and smooth implementation of the Euroclear Single Platform (CCI). Speakers include Andy Thompson, APCIMS, Chris Webb, Equiniti, Tim Archer, Redmayne-Bentley, and Peter Loadman, Investmaster whilst on the technical panel companies represented include Peter Evans, Rhyme Systems, SWIFT and Safe Financials.
