It is like a fairy tale from Thousand and One Nights. Only 40 minutes by car from the metropolis Dubai one reaches Ras Al Khaimah with its capital of the same name. Here the sea, mountains and desert are only a stone’s throw away from each other. Charm of nature and the treasure of history are intentionally reflected in local architecture. So it is not the case that superlative hotel complexes are

simply erected without considering environmental and historical conceptions. An excellent example is the well-known Al Hamra Fort Hotel & Beach Resort, built like an Arab fort with its typical defensive towers.


At the same marvellous beach the Al Hamra Palace Hotel comes into being. The Beach Resort & Conference Centre is architecturally built in the tradional Arabic Palace style and will offer an atmosphere & service which go far beyond the 7 stars.
There are 400 rooms and 37 luxury suites (at least 72 m2) at the guests’ disposal. The hotel offers all wellness facilities, a 18-hole golf course and several tennis courts. For those who do not wish to take a bath in the nearby sea there are indoor and outdoor pools. It is planned to have 5 speciality restaurants and 3 bars. Shopping arcades invite you to stay a while. A ballroom, lecture hall and conference rooms are convenient for events with up to 1000 people. The opening of the Al Hamra Palace Hotel will be in spring 2008.


Khatt Springs Hotel & Spa – the wellness oasis amidst date groves.
Approximately 20 min. away from Ras Al Khaimah the Khatt Springs Hotel & Spa rises giving a splendid view over the surrounding mountains, date groves and mysterious desert. The wellness hotel offers mineral spring water pools of its own; it is a fountain of youth for health and beauty. The facilities feature sauna, caldarium, ice grotto and Cleopatra bath (a milk/oilbath) as well as a serailbath (therapeutic mud), hydropool and wet table for Hamam massage. It offers all types of well-known massage, health baths, beauty treatment and diet & fruit/vegetable cure under medical supervision. There are dietitians employed in the restaurant “La Palmeraie”.

The marvellous sandy beaches of Ras Al Khaimah and the sea can be reached within 20 minutes by car; furthermore there is a 18-hole golf course nearby. The Khatt Springs Hotel & Spa is constructed and will be opened in 2007.
