"Understanding how you read instructions and questions, time spent on a given question and impact of negative marking can be critical for success in IIT JEE 2007. With Quizmine's computer based SWOT reports students not only get a detailed performance report but they also get to see how they are doing as compared to JEE 2006".
Kavita believes that students need to develop an execution strategy to succeed in JEE 2007. Key execution areas according to her are: A) Reading: Read questions and answers with great attention to details. Pay specific attention to instructions given at the beginning of any section Note that question and answer choices are often written so that only students who pay attention to details get the correct answer Quizmine offers practice quizzes to students and they can instantly learn if they are making mistakes in reading questions and available options. B) Negative marking and guessing In general you get 1/3rd of negative mark for every wrong answer This also implies that if you are down to only 2 choices then you should guess Quizmine's computer based scoring system track student performance for each quiz, diagnostic exams and exam. Student's can see how negative marking is affecting their scores (and can be better prepared for JEE 2007). C) Time Management In JEE 2007 it is important to first attempt questions in which student has a solid understanding. It is further important to not waste time in questions which can take a lot of time. Quizmine’s computer based system keeps a detailed track of time that a student has spent on every quiz question, diagnostic exam and exam and can help students to better prepare for JEE 2007. D) Scoring At the end of the day what counts is a student's absolute score and percentile based ranking. Quizmine's progress reports and SWOT reports can be mission critical in identifying strong and weak areas for JEE 2007 and in helping a student to better understand his or her opportunities and threats.
