PICKLES AUCTIONS ROCKLEA CHANGES TRUCK AUCTION DAY

Brisbane’s leading Truck Auction, Pickles Auction Truck, Machinery and Earthmoving Plant Auction will now be held on Thursday of every third week at 10:00am.

The auction was previously held on Wednesday for the past seven years. The next Truck, Machinery and Earthmoving Plant Auction will be held on Thursday 24 January 2008 and buyers can view items on the Wednesday before the sale and from 8:30am day of sale.

There will be more than 400 items up for auction including: water tanks, tri-axle chassis, tipping trailers, leaders, excavators, motorcycles, forklifts,

prime movers, pan-techs, cherry pickers and much more!

The major vendors for this auction include Energex, Australian Defence Forces, Ergon Energy, various local councils, finance companies, local industry and insurance companies.

Eddie Shannon is the new Branch Manager at Pickles Rocklea and brings to the team more than 15 years experience in the Truck and Machinery Industry and is looking forward to increasing the success of the business.

Most recently Eddie was the General Manager Western Star/MAN Trucks and Busses and prior to Western Star acquiring MAN Automotive, he held the position of General Manager in New Zealand. In this role, Eddie was responsible for the Dealer Network in Aftermarket as well as retail Sales and Marketing nationally.

Eddie has also spent time in Australia as the National Sales and Marketing Manager for MAN before being promoted to the position of General Manager.

Prior to working with Western Star/MAN Automotive, Eddie was the National Manager at Scania in New Zealand, the world’s most prestigious manufacturer of trucks, buses and engines, where he was responsible for Sales and Marketing and forged strong relationships with dealer networks.
