Press Release from:
Tigerpaw Software, Inc.
Tigerpaw Software, Inc., a leading developer of customer relationship management (CRM) and professional service automation (PSA) software, and Cougar Mountain Software, a leading accounting and point-of-sale software publisher, have teamed up to establish an integration between their respective solutions, the companies announced today. Beta testing is now under way, and the companies plan to officially roll out the integration by the end of the second quarter.
The integration will establish a link between the business management and tracking functionality of Tigerpaw CRM+ and the
accounting capabilities of Cougar Mountain’s solutions. Companies who use both firms’ solutions will be able to seamlessly transfer data such as invoices, credit memos, payments, and more, providing a bridge between front- and back-office operations and eliminating the need for redundant data entry. Considered pioneering software developers in their respective arenas, Tigerpaw and Cougar Mountain both specialize in solutions for the SMB sector, serving a wide variety of vertical industries.
“We are very pleased to partner with Cougar Mountain to establish this important integration,” Tigerpaw CEO Dave Foxall said. “Their accounting solutions are highly utilized and respected, both in markets we currently serve and beyond. They are a quality company with quality products and an outstanding reputation. We think this is a great match that will benefit our shared clients and open up some new market penetration opportunities for both of us.” Specifically, Tigerpaw CRM+ will provide information in the form of text files to be imported into Cougar Mountain’s 16-bit business accounting software. Types of imports available – called “feeds” – will include customer accounts, invoices, credit memos, and payments for invoices, as well as account journal entries to include cost of sales for invoices; value of receipts on purchase orders; deposits; trade-ins; inventory adjustments and gains or losses on vendor returns; and adjustments for progressive billing.
