ONLINE STORE HELPS SUPPORT THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCER - Carpe Diem Design's Cancer Crusade store opened in 2005 in hope of raising money year-round to support the fight against cancer. By offering cancer awareness designs, the Cancer Crusade store is able to help raise awareness through its merchandise and support the fight against cancer by donating 100% of its net profit to the American Cancer Society. "When I first opened my store on CafePress, I thought perhaps I would sell a couple cancer awareness products each month. I participate in Relay For Life each year and I was hoping to do some of my fundraising through my store. I had no idea that the store would be so successful" explains Megan, owner of Carpe Diem Design's Cancer Crusade store.

no idea that the store would be so successful" explains Megan, owner of Carpe Diem Design's Cancer Crusade store. "I was stunned at the overwhelming response. I've lost three grandparents to cancer within the past four years, so my fight against cancer is personal"

The first T-shirt design featured at Carpe Diem Design's Cancer Crusade store is still the most popular, the front featuring multiple awareness ribbons in a variety of colors and stating, "You Don't Care? Think it doesn't affect you? Think AGAIN!" On the back, it emphasizes how many are affected by cancer. The purple 'Cancer Sucks' design is also incredibly popular and is often purchased on buttons in bulk. All of the designs are offered on a wide variety of merchandise, such as t-shirts, tank tops, sweatshirts, buttons, magnets, mugs, mousepads, and more.

"What's great about CafePress," says Megan, "is how easy it is to manage my store. Uploading a new design isn't too time consuming, which allows me to offer personalizations on all of my designs for free."
