New home marks a great 1st year for Recycled UK - Two best friends are celebrating their company’s first anniversary in style after a string of orders paved the way for a new factory in Coseley. Paul Green and Paul Cotton have seen Recycled UK Ltd, a specialist in waste management and plastic recycling, expand behind their wildest dreams, with sustained work in the automotive, body repair and domestic products markets sending turnover crashing past the £250,000 mark – 20% up on expectations. This growth, coupled with growing environmental legislation and landfill costs, was responsible for the relocation, which has seen the company more than double their capacity and office space by relocating into a 12,000 sq ft site in Darkhouse Lane. “You could say we’ve had a whirlwind twelve months,” explained Paul Green, who has nearly 25 years’ experience in manufacturing. “Waste management is a very complex issue, but one that businesses in the UK need to address as it is costing industry millions of pounds in landfill tax and lost revenue.
