Minicom delivers centralized KVM server management to Tibet Finance Ministry - Minicom Advanced Systems, a global leader in KVM switches and server management solutions, announced today that its DX system has been installed at the Tibet Ministry of Finance. The DX system is designed to provide centralized KVM server management to improve data center server room efficiency and increase server usability. Tibet’s finance ministry operates an extensive number of servers, accessed and controlled by a number of EZ-Link KVM switches. However, without online IP capability or non-blocking access to the servers the ministry was struggling to maintain efficient work flow management. Once installed, the DX system provides the ministry’s IT staff with non-blocking access, enabling up to eight users to control any number of servers via a secure out-of-band connection over CAT5 cable.
