fitness instructor leading a warm up ahead of the walk and plenty of fun along the way. Ladies are encouraged to join the in the event alone or with a group of friends. I'm sure friendships will be made during the evening. "Our aim is to raise funds to grant wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses and to promote Round Table Children's Wish so we can continue to make more wishes come true for as many children as possible."

Round Table Children's Wish, which has its head office in Bournemouth, grants Wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses, with wishes ranging from trips to Disneyland Paris, swimming with dolphins, meeting their pop or sporting heroes or having a laptop. With walkers being asked to raise £50 or more sponsorship and up to 500 walkers expected to take part, it is hoped 2008 will see many more wishes being granted. Davina added: “ If you are a local company or organisation why not enter a work team and help make a difference.” To sign up call 01202 514515, email davina@rtcw.org
