Dec. 22, 2009–While Sin City is hosting several hundred thousand revelers on New Year’s Eve, the Las Vegas Monorail will continue to transport people from one end of the Strip to the other, even when Las Vegas Blvd. closes to vehicles and buses. Visitors looking to get to the city’s hottest spots safely, quickly and efficiently can use the Monorail to travel the length of the Strip in just 15 minutes.
“Visitors who use the Monorail can spend less time traveling and more time celebrating, and best of all – we’ll do the driving for you,” said Ingrid Reisman, vice
president of corporate communications for the Las Vegas Monorail.
The Las Vegas Monorail Company offers a ticket type to suite every traveler’s needs: a $5 Single Ride Ticket; $14 Unlimited Ride Day Pass and a $30 Unlimited Ride Three-Day Pass. With trains arriving every few minutes, riders can glide above the crowds from one party to the next and easily connect to Las Vegas’ world-famous restaurants, clubs, shows, shops, hotels and casinos. As the rooftop fireworks displays are commencing the start of a new year, the Las Vegas Monorail will continue to offer reliable, non-stop service until 3 a.m.
