most wins of any college football coach at 443 and is the first active head coach to be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame, with the class of 2006. A group of very loyal Johnnie football fans led by Michael "Dusty" Wagner SJU class of 1983, have developed and launched

the unofficial fan website of Johnnie football. The site, very simply named, is by fans and for fans of Johnnie football. As Wagner puts it "Our dedication is to Johnnie football and our belief is that a program of national prominence deserves the recognition of its fans". Having a way to connect Johnnie football fans to their favorite team through the experiences of their peers is the main goal of JohnnieFootball. Wagner went on to say "As generations of players have come and gone over the past 60 years they have wisely stayed close to the most powerful, entertaining and innovative program in college football history. The very nature of Johnnie

football is to transcend the ages as its 80 year old sage readies for yet another record breaking season". The 2007 season kicks off September 1 in Collegeville, Minnesota versus non-conference opponent Marietta, Ohio at 1:00PM inside Clemens Stadium on the campus of St. John's University. Tickets can be purchased the day of the game for general admission seating.
