JAJAH Partners with Globespan Capital
To Extend Market Opportunities in Asia MENLO PARK, CA—April 20, 2006 – JAJAH, the world’s fastest-growing VoIP company, today announced that it has closed a Series B financing round led by Globespan Capital, a leading global venture capital firm with a core competence in business development within the Asian market. In addition, JAJAH announced that Globespan Capital’s Venky Ganesan will take a seat on JAJAH’s board of directors. The investment amount is undisclosed. “JAJAH chose to partner with Globespan Capital over many other potential suitors because of their focus on and leadership in the Asian markets,” said Daniel Mattes, co-founder of JAJAH. “As JAJAH has grown outside of Europe into the U.S. with the help of Sequoia Capital, as will JAJAH make an impact on the Asian market with Globespan Capital.”
