Iskratel presents the SI3000 MSCN Multi-Service Control Node - Introducing the Unique integrated Network Control Solution on a Single Platform Kranj, December 4th, 2006 – Iskratel, the leading provider of innovative solutions for convergent and IP-based networks, announces the launch of a new, uniquely designed call control, service provisioning and network mediation product – the SI3000 Multi-Service Control Node (SI3000 MSCN). The SI3000 MSCN integrates multiple functional blocks within a single and compact network control-plane product: call server, application server, signaling gateway, media gateway and media server. These functional blocks are provided by the following SI3000 MSCN network elements: • SI3000 Application Server • SI3000 Call Server • SI3000 Signaling and Media Gateway The entire network elements’ functionalities that originate from the Iskratel SI2000 switching product range are enhanced with open, standardized interfaces which enable them to fully integrate with the SI3000 MSAN access nodes. The product is supported by an integrated element and network-wide SI3000 MN management system. The SI3000 MSCN bridges the gap between existing PSTN networks and IP-based oriented network architectures.
