|
Press Release from:
HTT
Rouen, France (Inttranews): Only one month after the launch of the Inttranews Correspondent offer, no less than five major associations have already designated their Correspondents (by order of acceptance): - the European Language Industry Association (ELIA), - the Canadian Language Industry Association (AILIA), - the French Professional Interpreters' and Translators' Association (APROTRAD),
- the US-based Globalization and Localization Association (GALA), - the Hong Kong Translation Society (HKTS). The offer allows interpreters' and translators' associations to designate their
Inttranews Correspondent, who then receives a free subscription, valid for the term they hold the position, to the complete range of Inttranews services, and can publish press releases about the association via Inttranews, thereby benefiting from its global readership of some 50,000 linguists in over 90 countries.
A further free subscription is provided for syndicating Inttranews on the association's website (syndication details can be found on Inttranews). During the same initial period of the offer, more than 750 news reports were published on Inttranews, as well as 31 international calls for tenders worth a total value of €29.7 million, over 930 multilingual, multinational job offers for professional interpreters and translators, and For Sale offers concerning translation companies worldwide worth over $12 million. Inttranews Archives now contain some 24,000 news reports on all the events and issues of interest or concern to professional interpreters and translators. In addition to obtaining such strategic business and market information, the associations who name an Inttranews Correspondent benefit from a special additional discount on group subscriptions to Inttranews. About Inttranews Currently available in English, French and Spanish, with news articles specific to each version, Inttranews provides an average of 24 news reports a day on all the issues and events of interest or concern to linguists.
