24 Hour Comics Day comics festival in a dozen countries

Press Release from:
24 Hour Comics Day
With less than three months to go until the October 20th date for 24 Hour Comics Day 2007, organizer About Comics have announced the initial site list. Forty-three locations in twelve countries have already chosen to host gatherings for cartoonists, pro and amateur alike, where each will spend 24 straight hours trying to create 24 pages of comics. This all-night festival of comics creation, inspired by Scott McCloud's 24 hour comics challenge, has occurred every year since 2004. Initial signs are that this year will be bigger than last year's record- setting event, when more than 1200
cartoonists took part. Almost any school, library, business, comics club, or other organization can host an official event. More information on what it takes to host an event and a host sign-up form are available at 24 Hour Comics website.
