George Bush and Osama bin Laden meet on the Drachenfels

Press Release from:

Does anyone still talk about the Afghanistan Conference on the Petersberg in Königswinter near Bonn? Or the numerous summit meetings, peace conferences and initiatives of Arab, Israeli and American politicians?
Just in time for Carnival in the Rhineland, Honighäuschen Apiary has set up a living monument to the two biggest fools in politics. George W. Bush and Osama bin Laden – the two spiritual brothers when it comes to terrorising the world and spreading lies and propaganda at the cost of others and causing wars to break out – these two favourite contemporary
personalities are now standing together in real harmony at the Drachenfels near Bonn.
Birgit Jönsson from Nuremburg, who specialises in carving figures for bee houses, has used the faces of these illustrious contemporary personalities for creating exorcist masks, which are designed to ward off the very thing that they depict – in keeping with the old beekeeping tradition of protecting against evil spirits and shady characters. And who isn't sick and tired of these rogues? By the way, in times gone by in both Christianity and Islam bees were symbolic bringers of cleanliness, purity and health, and to this purpose they swarmed out of the open mouths of such specially designed exorcist masks. Bees also fly in and out of George W. Bush's mouth and through Osama bin Laden's shaggy beard, and hopefully keep evil away from the bee house of Honighäuschen Apiary. During the day (in accordance with Central European Time) a webcam shows the life of the bees on the Internet. Here you can access the cam.
