Seattle, Washington, March 11 2007 – Rippedsheets.com today announced that it’s new 100714 label material is truly made from 100% recycled paper for laser, inkjet, flexo printers, letterpress printers, and other digital presses and printers. Now printers and customers can print Friendly, Post Consumer Recycled and 100% Recycled Paper Labels! The key to Rippedsheets.com’s 100% recycled label paper is the sustainable business plan of the paper mill that produces the recycled white paper face stock for the labels.

Rippedsheets.com’s 100% recycled paper mill vendor produces
white, uncoated 100 percent recycled paper using power from wood waste. It’s processed without using chlorine and its production byproducts known as greylime are put on local farmland as fertilizer instead of taken to a landfill. By the end of the year, a new biomass generator will also be online and the mill should even be able to work entirely as a “power island,” without the need of any power from the local PUD.

Face stock through the paper mill of origin has received Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) certifications. Rippedsheets.com is the first North American label and paper manufacturer and distributor to make 100% recycled labels. Rippedsheets.com is not FSC certified, nor has chain of custody certifications from FSC, nor has applied for such.

Rippedsheets.com offers U.S. commercial and in-plant printers an important business advantage: printers can now fulfill growing customer demand for 100% recycled labels.
