FDA causes more confusion for menopausal women

Press Release from:
Minnie Pauz Enterprises
For nearly 12 years Minniepauz.com has been providing a calm, supportive, informative gathering place for women in the process of "change". In the January Minnie Pauz newsletter it was mentioned that even though there was a lot of confusion from the medical profession, the media and the pharmaceutical industry, women have still benefitted from the onslaught of information.
Now the FDA has brought women back to the brink of frustration by saying compounding pharmacies are no longer supposed to fill prescriptions for "bioidentical" hormones written by qualified medical doctors after
reviewing family history, testing hormone levels and diagnosing these women as in the stage of life where they are in need of hormone replacement (or maybe it should be called "enhancement" now).
Minniepauz.com creator, Dee Adams, says "I will continue to provide as many sides to these stories as possible, without taking sides about what's good and what's bad, but this latest action by the FDA has inspired a different kind of Minnie Pauz cartoon." The first of several "editorial" cartoons can be seen on the front page of the site at http://www.minniepauz.com Keep up with the news reports and the outpouring of responses at http://www.minniepauz.com/whi_report.html If you have an opinion to express, feel free to send email or post comments on the Minnie Pauz Forum.
