Equisys plc, one of the leading developers of software solutions for document production and delivery, and a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, today announced that Zetadocs® for Microsoft Dynamics NAV has achieved Microsoft Dynamics certification. Equisys is the first UK based company to achieve certification for Dynamics NAV, demonstrating its continued commitment to working with Microsoft and its partners. Microsoft UK’s NAV Product Marketing Manager, Steve Farr, commented, “The certification of Zetadocs for NAV is a great example of what can be achieved by our ISV partners.

Zetadocs for NAV can deliver cost savings and productivity gains for accounts departments in three key areas. Firstly, the costs of printing and mailing invoices or statements is time consuming and expensive - the production of just 1,000 paper based invoices per month can amount to annual costs of over £12,000 based on the cost of postage, materials and the time spent producing the documents. Secondly, most businesses also retain paper copies of financial documents, spending up to £500 rental space per filing cabinet to provide day-to-day access and adhere to compliance regulations. However, filing errors often occur, leading to delays and additional costs.

Finally, financial information that is contained within NAV is often not readily available to departments other than accounts. If other employees want to get access to this information, they have to involve the accounts team, wasting valuable time and potentially having a negative impact on customer service. Chris Oswald, CEO of Equisys, explains how Zetadocs for NAV addresses these issues.

“Zetadocs for NAV delivers significant improvements in each of these key areas. Users can convert batches of NAV documents into ‘print quality’ PDFs and send them via email or fax, depending on a customer’s preferences. This gets invoices to customers faster and assists prompt payment, whilst virtually eliminating document production and delivery costs. It also automatically stores orders, statements and invoices in Microsoft SharePoint® Server so any authorized user can quickly access them. This frees up your accounts people to focus on their main job, reduces the possibility of documents being misfiled, and removes the need for expensive physical storage.
