ELIA appoints Peter Brabazon as its Inttranews correspondent - Rouen, France (Inttranews): The European Language Industry Association (ELIA) has appointed as its Inttranews correspondent: Peter Brabazon, Board Director. Inttranews correspondents are entitled to submit news items about their organisation for publication on Inttranews, free of charge, and benefit from the Inttranews syndication network and monthly readership of more than 50,000 linguists in over 90 countries. ELIA, a non-profit organisation, is committed to representing the best interests of translation, interpretation and localization companies active in Europe by forming a forum for exchange, fostering the development of business relationships with fellow members and other related international organisations, and promoting the concept of ethics and quality standards throughout the industry. Particularly ELIA aims as it prime objectives to represent and promote the interests of the language industry in Europe. But in addition it intend to forge relationships with companies across Europe including but not limited to, the EU, its new member states and those who have applied to join.
