Its name is M-Building: it guarantees low costs, no wiring and an open architecture. Sulbiate (Milan)– Movactive, the Italian-based leading Group in the machine-to-machine sector, launches M-Building, the new solution to remotely manage all house equipments. The innovative technological solution removes all main obstacles to the success of the intelligent house: costs, wiring, installation, lack of communication standards.

Domotics ready to take off with the Movactive solutions
Movactive open and transparent architecture enables the orchestration of countless systems and appliances from different manufacturers. The solution integrates the management of energy consumption, equipments diagnostics, surveillance, security, safety, protection against flooding and gas escapes, remote medical aid and assistance for alone, elder, disabled and ill people.

The Movactive-enabled radio systems in the building send information to the data-collecting-device that can be located in a common light socket: communication is wireless. The device is self-configurable and entirely self-installable, it is not intrusive, so that it can be used inside any kind of building and by any equipment with minimum process capacity.
No pc is needed to control all the systems, because data processing is assigned to the Movactive Data Centre.

M-Building can be activated at distance, by sms – through portable phone -, and via web - by pc or pda. Both local check and automation use web-based technologies for the remote management and the integration of additional services such as security protection and e-care: whenever M-Building detects an emergency, the Movactive 24h24 Data Centre automatically sends an alarm call - sms, e-mail, fax - to a pre-configured list of addressees or to the organisations in charge (police, fire brigades, ambulances, assistance and maintenance service companies).

Many are the operational benefits of the application: easy-to-be-used, safe and reliable. M-Building low costs make the application suit the house mass market, although scalability and expansibility make it attract superior segments, such as the sophisticated residential and the business (hotels, banks, offices, industries, hospitals, schools, shops) targets.
