casoabierto David Berkowitz, America’s notorious serial killer called himself ‘Son of Sam’. He confessed to six killings and wounding many others but police estimate his killings to be much more than six. He was born to Betty Broder and Joseph Klienman, with whom she had an affair while married to Tony Falco. David Berkowitz’s original name was Richard David Falco.
He was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1953. Joseph refused to accept the child and so Betty gave him the name of her husband, Falco. As soon as he was born he was given in adoption to a Jewish couple who changed
his name to David Berkowitz.
