Cardinal Development Awards Art Students $17,500 at Public Reception - Miami, FL – On the evening of June 14th, the diligence and artistic talent of three local art students paid off. During a public reception in the main gallery of Miami International University (MIU), Irene Arditi, principal of Cardinal Development Corp announced the chosen public art design for 3333 Biscayne – the new landmark building of the Biscayne Corridor. Anastasia Cohen, a graphic design student at MIU, was presented with a check for $10,000 and awarded first prize for her project, “The Favourite Path of the Rising Moons.” The design (pictured below) will encompass the front and side of the building several stories tall, and serve as the defining characteristic of the building. The inspiration behind Anastasia’s work was the recently discovered “Miami Circle” which she researched extensively.
