British Red Cross launches online products and supplies catalogue - Following the successful introduction of their training courses iBrochure earlier this year, the British Red Cross is pleased to announce the launch of an online products and supplies catalogue. Produced in conjunction with Cheshire based Marketing Innovation Group, the products and supplies iBrochure is a simple and straightforward resource for anyone with first aid and health and safety responsibilities. Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 state that adequate and appropriate equipment and facilities should be provided to enable the provision of first aid if someone becomes ill or injured at work. Employers are also responsible for meeting the first aid needs of staff working away from the main site, for example those who are based at remote locations and those who travel regularly. The Red Cross provides a wide range of products, including large, basic and motorist's first aid kits to help companies meet their legal responsibilities.
