BioLink advances its OEM-offerings for access control applications - BioLink Solutions announces the release of an advanced driver designed for connection, customization and operation of BioLink U-Match Ethernet, which is a mountable high-quality biometric network device with the Ethernet interface and an OEM-product for manufacturers of access control systems. BioLink U-Match Ethernet is able to perform both functions of fingerprint scanners (scanning fingerprint images, generation and comparison of biometric templates) and various functions required to manage electromagnetic door locks, turnstiles, etc. This device is intended for usage as a component in access control and time management applications requiring remote location of readers and controllers of end devices. The new driver is also operable with BioLink’s commercial software product - BioLink SDK, a tool to integrate BioLink biometrics into new applications. The new functionality of the driver is faster operation with Ethernet devices and ability to search and customize the unaddressed devices in the network.
