BioLink Delivers Its Powerful Matchers for the E-Passport of Senegal - BioLink is engaged in the implementation of the E-Passport System in Senegal involving fingerprinting of the Senegalese crossing the borders. ICAO-compliant e-passports used as a travel document will bear a microchip in their covers with biometric identifiers of holders. The Republic of Senegal is another African country launching e-passports complying with ICAO stipulations for machine-readable travel documents protecting the users' privacy against identity theft. E-passports assist in streamlining immigration activities and keeping records of visitors to the country. The system is expected to cover 3 Mio citizens of Senegal.
