Australian Auto Consumers To Get a Better Deal on Spare Parts - CarbonBlack TyreXchange (CarbonBlack) today announced a new agreement with Advanced Automotive Data Services (AADS) to incorporate more than 920,000 catalogued aftermarket auto parts into the CarbonBlack online quoting marketplace. This includes aftermarket parts for over 7,800 vehicle makes and models, with a timeframe spanning from the 1950’s to today and importantly catering for older “classic” and popular privately imported vehicles. For Managing Director of CarbonBlack, Jodi Stanton, the deal with AADS addresses a set of industry issues. “This is a great way for the tyre and auto industries to leverage technology and the internet to produce efficient, low-cost, consumer-focused and measurable marketing outcomes,” she said. The online quoting marketplace works when consumers visit the site and log in with details of their vehicle (make, model, year and series) and request information on an auto part and/or service.
