Applied Language go ‘Missing on the Moors’. - Applied Language Solutions, a Huddersfield based Translations Company organised a ten mile sponsored walk for the Barnardo’s ‘Missing in Yorkshire scheme’ on Saturday 18th August. The walk itself was set to begin in Meltham and, following the route over the Saddleworth Moors, finish in Greenfield. Unfortunately the walk did not go quite to plan and instead the Applied Language team found themselves ‘Missing in the Saddleworth Moors.’ Although the team did indeed walk ten miles, if not more, once they realised they had went off route they sought refuge in a mini–bus and were escorted to the finishing point in Greenfield.
Kenny Holden, Head of Technology said, “Everyone who took part thoroughly enjoyed themselves and even the fact that it was raining cats and dogs and we walked 6 miles in the wrong direction couldn’t dampen our spirits.
