AXIGEN is a brilliant product and its simplicity is backed by its powerful technology. Therefore we aim at offering this solution to companies spread throughout the country, as it really makes life simple for system administrators when handling the email communication,” said Ricardo Rothfeld, IT Director at LNX-IT.

“We are really pleased with this valuable partnership with LNX-IT as it represents AXIGEN’s first step on the Brazilian market. We are confident that, together with our partner, we will adapt our innovative messaging solutions to meet requirements of companies operating in Brazil. We will also continue to focus on expanding our distribution network both on this new market and worldwide, as in the first 10 months of 2007 alone, our partner network has been doubled,” concluded Oana Bornaz, AXIGEN CEO.

Now at version 5.0, the AXIGEN Mail Server runs on several Linux and BSD distributions, on Solaris, on PowerPC and on SPARC architectures, while its WebMail Interface is available in 20 languages, including Portuguese. AXIGEN signed technology partnerships with Sun Microsystems, RedHat, IBM and Avira and has recently won the ServerWatch 2007 Product Excellence Award for the Communications Server category, after having competed with four other messaging solutions – Zimbra, CommuniGate, Merak and Lotus.
