newtron AG concluded contract with DaimlerChrysler for online auctions

The newtron AG, Europeans leading specialist for IT solutions for the optimization of strategic and operative purchasing processes, concluded a contract with DaimlerChrysler AG on January 1st 2007.

The global contract for the newtron SRM-solution includes all worldwide purchasing units of Daimler Chrysler. The locations in Stuttgart (Germany) and Auburn Hills (USA) already started to establish the newtron purchasing portal for the negotiation of products and services, other locations world-wide will follow shortly.

newtron ensures a permanent 24-hours-support directly

at the head-quarters for the assistance of buyers and suppliers. The responsible Busi-ness Consultants advise and support especially the purchase employees with setting up and realization of online auctions.

The platform is also available in Japanese and Turkish since February 1st. Now newtron offers the solution to all users in 10 languages.
