The basic idea behind ShieldedMail: If you do not disclose your true email address, you will not be spammed or phished.
The service provides highly customizable virtual (proxy) Mailboxes which can be regarded as a further development of the "disposable email address" concept offered by some competitors and email providers. Standard features include virus scan and SPF (Sender Policy Framework)sender verification.
