People Prefer Silk and Satin Lingerie - In a survey of over 2,000 visitors to online lingerie company WickedTemptations.com, the majority of respondents preferred satin or silk lingerie to any other style. Wicked Temptations caters to those looking for risqué or sexy lingerie, so the preference for satin and silk was somewhat surprising. It appears that even in an age of synthetics and leather fetish wear, you can’t beat good, old-fashioned silky drawers. Although exactly 30% professed to “Love it all,” neglecting to choose one type of lingerie over another, 18% of survey takers voted for satin/silk.
