Father Don Demidoff will meet again with the public prosecutors of Brasov, which are investigating the cases of torture in the prison of Codlea.
Father Don Demidoff gets complaints of more and more prisoners In Codlea the torturing is followed by threaths The steps taken by Father Don Demidoff in order to stop the acts of torturing in the prison of Codlea have resulted in unusual reactions of the administration of the prison. The detainees which have been keeping in touch with Father Don Demidoff are recently treated worse than before. There is the recent example of a
detainee who, although he should have been released on license, had been “supported” by the administration in order to remain in prison for some more months. Accidently or not, this detainee was one of those who had an active correspondence with Father Don Demidoff in the past.
