A New Scan Solution for High-Power Lasers - powerSCAN 50 - The powerSCAN series enables system integrators to position multiple kilowatts of laser power onto a workpiece in just a few milliseconds. The new member of this series, the powerSCAN 50, delivers high dynamic performance – typical processing speed 2.7 rad/s – along with a large aperture (50 mm) for small spot sizes and large image fields. In combination with SCANLAB's varioSCAN 60 dynamic focusing unit, the laser beam can be quickly and precisely focused within working volumes, thus allowing non-flat workpieces to be processed.
As in the other powerSCAN systems, the mirrors and the varioSCAN's optics are air cooled, while the scanners, electronics and varioSCAN are water cooled.
