"The cutting edge of science validates this approach to creating coherent national consciousness and lasting peace." - Dr John Hagelin

Dr John Hagelin, world-renowned quantum physicist and international director of the Global Union of Scientists for Peace, will be in Geneva from 13 to 17 February to speak to scientists, policy makers, and leaders of peace organizations on a proven new approach to creating peace and national invincibility‹and to announce a new initiative to make Switzerland invincible.

Dr Hagelin has been invited to Switzerland by Dr Felix Kagi, Raja of Switzerland, to bring to the notice of scientists at all levels of government, and to the people of Switzerland, that it is now possible to raise the nation¹s consciousness to a high level of integrity, freedom, and invincibility.

On Tuesday 14 February, Dr Hagelin and Raja Felix will hold a news conference at 11:00 a.m. at the Swissôtel Metropole, 34 Quai General Guisan, for all national and international press in Geneva. This will be followed by a conference at 2:00 p.m. at the Swissôtel Metropole for scientists, administrators, and everyone in a position of responsibility "to gain the knowledge to raise their authority to the level of invincibility". Advertisements announcing the invincibility conference are appearing in major Swiss newspapers and the International Herald Tribune.

Dr Hagelin and Raja Felix will be joined by Dr Volker Schanbacher, President of Maharishi University of World Peace, who will speak on the principles of invincibility from the standpoint of the modern physical sciences, including physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics.

Dr Hagelin will present innovative scientifically proven approaches for preventing violence, conflict and terrorism, and for promoting integrated collective consciousness leading to invincibility. "The cutting edge of science supports this approach to creating coherent national consciousness and lasting world peace," Dr Hagelin said.

Dr Hagelin has conducted pioneering research at CERN (the European Center for Particle Physics) and SLAC (the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center) and is responsible for the development of a highly successful grand unified field theory based on the Superstring. His scientific contributions in the fields of electroweak unification, grand unification, super-symmetry and cosmology include some of the most cited references in the physical sciences.

Raja Felix hosted eight conferences in Geneva on the theme: "Celebrating the Dawn of a New Fortune for all Mankind", from 27 November to 4 December 2005. In mid-December, Raja Felix unveiled his plans to reconstruct Geneva and other major Swiss cities to be "fortune-creating cities". And at the end of the year, Raja Felix started a new advertising campaign calling on the youth of the country to join him for a special training program in the science and technology of total Natural Law, to make Switzerland invincible.

"I have invited these great scientists to present their findings that it is possible for the people and the government of Switzerland or any country to raise their nation to invincibility," Raja Felix said.

ABOUT DR HAGELIN
John Hagelin, PhD, is a world-renowned quantum physicist, educator, author, and science and public policy expert.

In addition, Dr Hagelin has spent much of the past quarter century leading a scientific investigation into the foundations of human consciousness. In his book, Manual for a Perfect Government, Dr Hagelin shows how, through educational programs that develop human consciousness, it is possible to overcome acute social problems and to enhance governmental effectiveness.
Dr Hagelin received his PhD from Harvard University in 1981. He is currently Director of the Institute of Science, Technology and Public Policy and Professor of Physics at Maharishi University of Management; Minister of Science and Technology of the Global Country of World Peace; and President of the US Peace Government.

As founder and international director of the Global Union of Scientists for Peace, Dr Hagelin is actively mobilizing support among top scientists to halt nuclear development and proliferation, and to implement innovative scientifically proven programs to prevent violence and conflict and promote peace. He is establishing a University of World Peace in Washington, D.C. (see http://www.nuclearalert.org and http://www.invincibility.org).
